Here we go again, no matter how odd the chemistry would be, if you’re popular your peers will want to work with you. This is the case with Drake recently admitting his desire to work with country/pop sensation Taylor Swift. Drake has already expressed his desire to work with Sade and now wants to take it to a different level by hooking up with Swift:

“Seeing Taylor Swift in person is always fun for me. I bought this Taylor Swift T-shirt the other day that I might wear tonight.”

“I just have this small little thing with her; I just like her whole being. I’m excited about her career.” Drake gushed, before adding that a duet “would be nice, I’m down.” [SOURCE]

What we will say is Drake gets endless respect from us for being such a humble and nice person; who else in Hip-Hop is that nice? But to be blatantly honest, the duet could only come about because of a personal admiration for the singer because musically, it would not work. Well I guess we could be surprised but still. Also, Thank Me Later still hasn’t received a solid release date.

In other news, Taylor Swift will go on a partial-hiatus as the label execs want to give the public a break from “America’s Current Sweetheart” so she can come back big for her third album.
