Last night played host to many mainstream artists performing at the Grammys. View them all after…
Lady GaGa – “Pokerface” & “Speechless” feat. Elton John
You have to give GaGa her credit, she killed the show’s opener. When that “Pokerface” music started, she threw down her arms and then jumped off the pedestal, it was ON.
Lil’ Wayne, Eminem & Drake – “Drop The World” & “Forever”
Gosh we love that “Drop the World” song. Travis Barker also did his thing. All that censoring really took away from the performance and Drake really seemed to be happy being at his first Grammys.
Michael Jackson Tribute
Celine Dion, Usher, Smokey Robinson, Jennifer Hudson and Carrie Underwood all came together for a tribute for Michael Jackson. The 3-D didn’t even work, the performance was solid but nothing extraordinary.
Jamie Foxx – “Blame It” feat. T-Pain & Slash
Not too keen on Jamie Foxx or this performance despite its energy. Slash was the best part of the performance.
Beyonce – “If I Were a Boy”
Beyonce recycled her concert mash-up performance of “If I Were a Boy” and Alanis Morissette’s “You Oughta Know.” She may not be innovative but she performs the heck out of whatever it is she does: all black everything was sharp.
Maxwell – “Pretty Wings”
First time Grammy winner and amazing performance, you gotta love Maxwell. Both he and Roberta Flack did an amazing job.
Black Eyed Peas – “Imma Be” & “I Gotta Feeling”
No surprises here but it was energy packed. “Imma Be” is going to be a radio hit.
Mary J. Blige & Andrea Bocelli
One word: AMAZING. They really do complement each other musically.
Green Day – “21 Guns”
We’re not really into this era of Green Day and their award show performances are tired but they surprisingly amused us, greatly.
Lady Antebellum – “Need You Know”
Love country music and love this group. They did an incredible job.
Zac Brown Band
We just became properly acquainted with the Zac Brown Band but we liked what we heard and saw.
Taylor Swift – Medley
It was alright. We stick up for Taylor but when she is performing live it’s like she is speaking and not singing.
Bon Jovi – Medley
You didn’t think they would just perform one fan chosen song on the spur of the moment. Rehearsals need to be done so of course they performed a planned medley.

absolutely LOVED the MJ tribute. anyway to download it??? thanks.
