Despite being the evening’s most buzzed artist, Lady GaGa did not sweep the floor with everyone’s asses and it seemed to offend her Monsters. If you were on Twitter during the event you would see what we mean. GaGa did however win 2 awards for Best Dance Recording and Best Dance Album. Now, what is a sensible person to say about this whole ordeal.

Monsters, this is just GaGa’s first year. Sorry to use the “dutty winin’ queen” Beyoncé as an example but look how long it took her to accomplish what she has. We can also look at this situation in another away; Pop acts aren’t usually award show favorites. We don’t see Madonna or Britney Spears racking up on engraved modeled pieces of metal. To be honest, if GaGa cleaned up completely what would she have to look forward to. Her career is already moving too fast to even imagine a career surpassing 5 years let alone 10. Our genration has this messed up conception of success. Most of us think that if it all doesn’t happen at once, within a year, then you are a nobody: GET BACK!

So we say this to say that Lady GaGa did very well; she opened the show with an incredible performance and each hand was too full to carry anything because she took home 2 Grammys. AND we hope GaGa was not upset because my dear, you have much to look forward to.
