A K. West track hit the net yesterday entitled “Latitude” featuring Drake and Lupe Fiasco. It’s funny though, the song leaked some six months ago yet it popped up again yesterday in all its new found glory. The song is produced by DJ Cones, or Beatconector.
The song reassures us that the Kanye we love to hate is going nowhere: “Still the mother f***er you love to hate, but can’t because you love what I make.” He is not telling a complete lie; he is another one who we separate the artistry from the person. Both Drake and Fiasco lay down their signature styles of rapping to add more to an already great song. The production is so peaceful; it balances the boastful lyrics… complete serenity.

BONUS: Last year Kanye West jumped on the remix for girl group, Sophia Fresh’s, “What It Is.” Well, you can download the song below with Kanye’s verse sans the girls.

For real, you guys are one of my favourite blogs. Just has a real personal feel to it all.
I love how the recycled verses in this song sound new that DJ Cones did a good job.
in no was is this an official song.. i didnt even listen to the lupe verse cause both the kanye and drake verses were from different songs
kanye and lupe’s verses are taken from Touch the Sky
the hook by Kanye West is from Brand New ft. Rhymefest
drake’s verse is from Replacement Girl ft. Trey Songz
Oh really, thanks for that. Well the DJ did a good job because it sounds good as new to us. It’s a good mash-up of verses with a great instrumental.
