2010 better be the year we get to hear Christina Aguilera’s brand new album because we’ve been reading too many articles about the album’s progression since mid last year. Now, another article has come along in the form of producer Tricky Stewart speaking with VIBE Magazine. Here’s what he had to say about the material he contributed to the album:
With Christina it’s a little different, because Christina wants music that you haven’t heard before. She did things that she’s never necessarily heard on the radio. She doesn’t want a record that sounds like anything else so you’re trying to create an entirely new sound for an artist. The three tracks that I did, they’re all uptempo tracks so we definitely kind of get the club moving but it’s just a matter of her doing different styles and using her voice in different ways. [SOURCE]
Hmmm, this album will end up in two ways; 1. This will blow our socks off and create some new trends in the music scene OR 2. It will be just another overpraised/overhyped album. With a huge roster of unique and likable musicians/songwriters/producers on this album, Aguilera seems to have crafted a beautiful piece of work. But hey, we can never judge until we actually hear the music.
P.S. Aguilera’s body is scrumptious isn’t it; her bow-legged self.

Thanks Chet!
