Leona Lewis has landed herself the opportunity to be the voice behind the theme song of what will probably be this year’s biggest movie, AVATAR. This is pretty big as it’s a James Cameron movie. The last movie he did was Titanic; you know, the movie about the big boat and two lovers. The song entitled “I See You” received influence from James Horner and Simon Franglen; the men who did Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On.”
Although the song is a ballad the song has a sense of sci-fi which matches the movie perfectly. However, this song just does not seem grand enough for a movie like AVATAR. It’s a nice song but the song should be BOOM, BAM, POW and everything other sound of explosion melted into the form of a ballad. But with such a HUGE movie they know what they’re doing and the song will definitely complement the movie.
