Arguably, the 3 most successful gents in hip-hop, of the new generation, are featured in an upcoming issue of Gentleman’s Quarterly. Wale, Drake and KiD CuDi sit atop 3 washer machines to show they’re not going to be washed up anytime soon in a piece entitled “Gangsta Killers.”
Gangsta rap is not dead, it’s just the time we’re in; everyone wants light and fun rather than dark and serious. Although, there will be a time when the gangsta rap returns we’re not anticipating it at all. Check out the smiles plastered across their faces. Ten or more years ago you could never find a rapper to crack a grin let alone putting the pearly whites on full display.
