It’s fashion week… day 2

As expected the second night brought a much bigger crowd of spectators to the second annual Islands of the World Fashion Week. As the crowd poured into the show room snaps of excitement were in the air. Could this night bypass the one last night?

Unfortunately it was a let down in that case. Although there were less designers than the first night, the clothing still held up on its own. There were shows from designers like Hesani Cay, Henry N. Jackson, Patrick Le’ Frontiere and the longest of them all, K-Bobby Couture.

There was nautical chic designs of Hesani Cay that was reminiscent of Ralph Lauren and Bold and muted prints from Henry N. Jackson whose line sported a few clothing for plus sized women. Patrick Le’ Frontiere who’s designs of coconut bark brought and island nymph kind of feel and K Bobby Couture that was everything but its name. It is safe to say some of the designs were on point but others missed their mark by a country mile, leaving the audience with the sole question “wtf?”

Overall, another amazing night… that ended again at the beautiful Marley Resort for drinks, dancing and socializing. View the gallery…
