Earlier, this image leaked as the official album cover for Alicia Keys’ The Element of Freedom but then other sources said it wasn’t. Well prectically everywhere has this album art dubbed as the official cover for the album, so we guess it is.

At first glance it’s a bit too camp but once we gave it a few more seconds of analyzing it’s rather cool despite it not really going hand in hand with the msuic we’ve heard thus far. That sequin cap is giving us Diana Ross “Mahogany” vibes circa 1975 mixed with a grecian/amazonian goddess. With the images of the past coming to mind when we see this image, we can’t help but reinforce that Alicia Keys is the Lena Horne of this generation; both in aesthetics and talent.
