Looking back at 2004 and fast forward 5 years, Akon’s sound has changed drastically. Is he keeping up with times, did he use his urban image as a way to get in so he could truly make the music he wanted when he became established or is it all business? Well whatever the reason is Akon makes great urban music as well as pop/dance music. Here’s another pop tune from him entitled “No More You”.

The harp strings pull the listener in from the very beginning and has us waving our arms as if we’re conductors of some orchestra. Lyrically, the content is cliché and easily goes unnoticed but it’s the hook and production of this song that creates the appeal.
