Contemporary Icon: Kobe Bryant for L’UOMO Vogue

kobe bryant l'uomo

For the October issue of L’Uomo Vogue, Kobe Bryant was shot by Mark Sellinger to be the magazine’s coverguy. With the magazine’s ‘Contemporary Icon’ theme for this month’s issue, having Kobe Bryant is a decent choice. There’s no question what he has achieved in the basketball/NBA arena; even argued to be the greatest of this generation by some. He also represents the urban community very well. As for the shoot, what can we say? The dark toned black and white photos are aesthetically appealing and suitably matches what a male icon should look like; crisp, clean and chiseled.
