Since her 2007 release, Not Too Late, it felt that the very talented singer/songwriter Norah Jones went into hiding. She took that time to record the follow-up, The Fall, to Not Too Late and we have the first single from that project entitled “Chasing Pirates”.

Now we’re going to lower our mindsets and be shocked at the initial reaction that the title of this song wants to emulate Adele’s “Chasing Pavements”. Besides that odd observation this song is Jones presenting us with substance. Her angelic voice over the the percussion makes for a very relaxing feel. This is a top pick to play in the background as you read a book or carry out some other task. The Fall is in stores November 17,2009.
