Just the other day we received the final Kelis edit with Basement Jaxx and now she been tapped by another popular duo, Crookers, for their upcoming album Tons of Friends. Crookers are the Italian duo that produced the remix to KiD CuDi’s “Day N Nite”. This collaboration, in which we spotted over at Proph’s, is entitled “No Security” and follows the musical direction of dub-step. A sound that is starting to catch-on to the masses.

As for the song, we first heard it several months ago as a very low quality snippet on Youtube and from that we knew it sounded like a certified smash. Now that we’re hearing the HQ it sounds a bit lighter but only slightly. This song is just what we love to hear from Kelis. It’s not safe, it’s edgy and it’s stylistic. It’s a shame that she never gets credit for starting the trends… Lookout for the Crookers album later this year.
