KiD CuDi recently sat down with HipHollywood for a one-on-one interview where he discussed performing at the ’08 VMA’s during an intermission to being nominated for a VMA this year. Also, Man on the Moon: The End of Day isn’t even out yet and he already spilled the beans on an his next album entitled Cudder.
“I’m brainstorming my collab album for next year. Umm it’s gonna be called Cudder and what it is, is a bunch of songs with me working with a lot of artists who inspired me, who I love and that’s purely what it is.
Chip Tha Ripper will be on it, definitely gonna get Kanye on it, definitely gonna get Common, if he has time definitely gonna try and get Drake on there, 88 Keys, Alchemist, y’know Noreaga hopefully he can be available for somethin’, Jay-Z hopefully. You know I’m really gonna go in; Green Day, I’m gonna try and reach out to them, RATATAT of course, MGMT of course, The Killers, I’m tryna reach out to them. I’m really gonna go in it’s gonna be dope; it’s gonna be better than most people’s albums. [Laughs] NO SHOTS!”
Your boy CuDi is really ambitious; we’re hoping his debut album lasts long enough where he doesn’t have to release another album so quickly. Nonetheless, it sounds amazing although some of the collaborations are way too familiar; Kanye, Common, even RATATAT and MGMT who are featured on the debut… But a collaboration with The Killers and Green Day could be epic if executed correctly. March on CuDi, march on!
