Via a live web-stream last night, Timbaland released information on the follow-up to the mega-successful Timbaland Presents…Shock Value. Titled simply, Shock Value 2 like the first will be very similar to all other producer albums; each and every beat is from that one producer with vocals from some of the hottest artists. Timbaland previewed about six songs and ADMITS he reserved his best material for himself when working with Jay-Z. LOL uh oh, you can’t be teasin a sensitive ego like that. We’re looking at this and there are no surprises. Yes, a good line-up but it would have been interesting to see a lineup with Santigold, Adele, Lupe Fiasco, etc… you know what we mean? We’re glad he admitted to the recent Jay-Z productions not being his best because whilst it wasn’t bad it was not a great evolution from the ‘maestro of producing’. We look forward to Shock Value 2 which is estimated to be released in the first quarter of 2010.
