The latest bit of news in the cycle is that Alicia Keys is making preparations to release her fourth studio album at the end of this year. This snippet of news comes from gossip blogger Necole Bitchie. Here’s what she tweeted:

This is such a vague tweet and anyone could have tweeted this but seeing that Necole is established and runs in certain circles the news stands a very high chance of being true. If it is true, WOWEE! Whitney, Mariah and Alicia all in the same year, excellent! We must say that it seems as if As I Am was just released last year but that’s Alicia’s timeless material for ya. That album, especially “Tell You Something (Nana’s Reprise)“, gets played constantly to this very minute. We just hope two years is enough for her to get her creative process complete because it took her four years for the last album.
