When listening to such a classical vocalist like John Legend you wonder if the reason why there aren’t an abundance of remixes from him is due to no one being able to properly match the original or if he just doesn’t spark an interest. Legend made his first collaboration with an electronic group, MSTRKRFT, under the title “Heartbreaker” a few short months ago. Even though we liked the song many criticized the song’s instrumental for overpowering Legend’s vocals.

RAC went in to produce a remix for legend’s “Everybody Knows”. This is one case of a remix when you can confuse it as the original. RAC’s execution of the instrumental is so subtle and fits Legend’s vocals like a glove. The electro piano loop, bass n drums are instantly catchy. This is a remix that fits the form of the artists’ original style; in this case, John Legend’s mature and soulful aesthetic.
