A few weeks ago a rough edit of “Stronger” leaked onto the ‘net. It featured Chris Brown singing ad-libs and now the final/mastered version has appeared which appears on the soundtrack for a movie entitled More Than a Game. The soundtrack will see a release date of September 22 and the movie will hit theaters on October 2.
The alternative R&B sound works very well for Mary and complements her vocals extremely well. The song has such a feeling of empowerment and seems to be a perfect choice for the movie it’s to appear in.
In other music news related to Mary J. Blige; this song, “Stronger”, is to be the follow-up title track to “The One” for her upcoming 9th studio album stated for a release date of November 24, 2009.
