These last few days have been pretty slow as far as exciting news go but KiD CuDi mentioned how his album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day, will follow the format of a movie. There will be three acts; averaging 5 songs per act. Last month he was also brainstorming the possible people who could do a voiceover for the album and today he revealed who it was. View that as well as listen to a snippet of his new song “Wake Up”.

That’s a good choice. Common has a recognizable voice and speaks in an intelligent manner so he will add a bit of a sophisticated feel to the album.
As for the song “Wake Up”, this is exactly why KiD CuDi has remained a favorite of ours. While others are trying to go back to bring life to hip-hop he is recreating it with his own style. The majority of what he has done is left-field of all the rest and most definitely in a good way.
