So it’s 5 am in the morning (an early bird as of late), was checking various blogs when we come across this amazing talent over at Proph’s blog. This dude with a voice, who is signed to London Village Music but works alongside Ryan Leslie’s Next Selection, name is Bluey Robinson. He was discovered by singing publicly at subway stations and what not. His sound is a mix of Pop/Rock/Soul/Alternative.

His first single, “I Know”, is a soulful yet very radio friendly song. He’s one of those artists that has a sound and voice filled with so much quality that he wouldn’t need to show a dance move, not once. As for the video; the production costs were probably very low but it works. It’s simple yet so effective. The outer space nebula imagery does the job. Both he and the lady express emotions that fit the song well. We say this to say, look out for this South Eastern Londoner who may be the next big male artist. The music industry’s future may not be so dark afterall.
