The highly anticipated first video from Drake for “Best I Ever Had” premiered earlier tonight. The Kanye West directed video revolves the storyline of Drake coaching this sexed up female basketball who are pretty much useless competitiors to the opposing team.

The slow motion visuals fit the chilled and smooth vocals and the cameos are abundant as well i.e. Fabolous, Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj, Amber Rose, etc… Is it me or did the lead girl with the physically enhanced breasts bear a resemblance to Rihanna. Hmm must just be me. But the video is a solid start to add to his videography

UPDATE: So I’m reading the comments on Drake’s video at various blogs and most people seem to share the opinion that the video was very lackluster and not what was to be expected. Well to be honest I was not expecting anything grandeur… this is pretty much along the lines of what I expected it to look like. It’s not horrible/ it’s not great but hey that’s the curse part of obtaining success so quickly and early; people put the person on a pedestal even when they know the artist isn’t an icon in the making.
