Sean Paul is back! Today at 1 p.m. the first single from his upcoming album, Imperial Blaze, premiered. The first single is titled “So Fine” and is one of those uptempo tunes that fans of Sean Paul live for. It’s not his best but it’s still a fiery track. Imperial Blaze is set to drop August 18.
The ALL-American Rejects just recently released the video for their single “Wind Blows”. The single is a change of tone from “Gives You Hell” with a semi-epic feel to it. It’s a decent video for a good song, check it out.
For some time now we’ve been fans of Cincinnati, Ohio native Mateo. His melodies are smooth and alluring combined with superb production, something that has him destined to be a success in the music industry. In addition to having the back end of his music in order, the most important element, his vocals are flawless without them being studio perfected. His musical style is just refreshing. First off let us apologize for posting so many “Boom Boom Pow” related posts but how could we overlook something with CuDi on it. At the moment CuDi is in LA recording his album and he decided to remix the track. His voice sounds a little higher than usual, just slightly but nonetheless it’s another good remix.

In the best bit of music news in awhile, news on future singles have been revealed for Kanye West. Just a day after his video for “Amazin” premiered Rihannadaily.com has confirmed that it was one of three videos he shot for 808′s & Heartbreak. The other two videos are for the singles “Robocop” and “Paranoid” but get this Paranoid was remixed to include Rihanna. Although the news was released last year that Rihanna recorded a verse for the song it wasn’t clear whether or not she would be featured on the single’s release. Well now we know she is in the song and will be featured in the video. We’re glad Rihanna is back to work but wait let me not speak so soon because I shall be tired of her again before you know it, sorry we are the A.D.D. generation. Here’s what Kanye had to say about Rihanna’s appearance on the track.
“Yep, she’s my Paranoid girl in the video,” Kanye smiled. ”She’s an amazing talent though. Collaborating with her is always a pleasure!”
As for the Robocop video, words cannot convey how excited this makes me feel. From day one I cited “Robocop” as my personal favorite from 808′s… The feature of Amber in the video is icing on the cake which convinces me that Ms. Rose must be more of a muse to Mr. West than an actual girlfriend. You know where to check when these videos premiere, alright.
So Ciara’s third album is finally here, well not technically. Originally, Ciara’s Fantasy Ride was supposed to be released on the same day as Beyoncé’s I Am… Sasha Fierce but it was pushed-back and then a few more times after that. Fantasy Ride was also to be a 3-disc theme album, with each disc having a unique genre but that idea was scrapped as well. Then there were other issues, the tracks were leaking from every single direction you could point to leaving the majority of her fan base and others alike highly underwhelmed. To add insult to injury the many concepts for the album art leaked with the corny superhero imagery. With all of that we were persuaded by the idea that maybe Ciara failed on this album big time because as we’ve mentioned before none of Ciara’s previous albums were listenable all the way through.
Then the other day the album sampler was made available on Amazon.com. It was a slap in the face, a sigh of relief that Ciara came through with the goods. The question that arose was how could so much leaked material sound so hot and fresh, well we’ll tell you how. A lot of the leaked material was reworked and mastered. For the first time, dare we say it, Ciara finally achieved an album that you can put on track 1 and just let it play the whole way through. We could give you a rundown on each and every track but time does not permit but trust us when we say that you won’t waste your time checking out this album. We also like how Ciara and her label decided to keep “Turntables” featuring Chris Brown because despite all that happened on Brown’s personal side he still is a great artist and deserves the respect in that aspect. The only downfall of this album is the cover art but like they say, you can’t have your cake and eat it too. Fantasy Ride is out May 3rd in the UK and May 5th in the rest of world.

LMFAO jumps on the “Boom Boom Pow” remix bandwagon and creates the “Party Rock remix”. This song is jammin, full of energy. This remix is definitely in the direction of a dance/club feel. The bass on this one is in full and makes the song that much better. Give it a listen!

The video premiere for “Amazin’” featuring Young Jeezy premiered last night and what can we say, beautiful visuals and amazing song (no pun intended). Kanye spends a lot of time in Hawaii because of the seclusion which makes sense and it also made for another masterful piece from the brilliant artist.
As for that interview at the end of the video clip, nonsense, complete bull. Kanye just has to be so obvious with his egocentric behavior. He claims he is becoming more humble but we hardly see an ounce of humility in him. Despite that it’s great that we can separate the artists’ craft from the artists’ personality because it seems you cannot find an artist without a touch of narcissism.
Last week via Tapemasters Inc. we got a taste of what The-Dream and Christina Milian were cooking up in the studio. Then a short while ago the tagged full version leaked of “Zipper” produced by Tricky Stewart. The initial opinion remains, the song is a definite banger, not spectacular but very good. Let’s see if the The-Dream can finally get Christina the career push she’s been looking for almost the past ten years. This is the full tagged version, so when the CDQ leaks we’ll have it for you.

The second single of Jesse McCartney’s re-release of Departure is Body Language and it has been remixed to feature T-Pain. T-Pain’s addition makes this song so much better than the original becuase it was nothing to talk about. We always mention melody when posting a good song because a melody can make or break a song for us and this one is very melodic. Give it a listen.
