Wow, it’s been just about 5 years since Green Day released the mega-successful American Idiot. The band is back gearing up to release their eighth studio album under the title “21st Century Breakdown” with a release date of May 15th. Today, the first single leaked, “Know your Enemy”, produced by Garbage member Butch Vig. Lead Green Day vocalist Billie Joe spoke to Q magazine about the song describing in his words, “It’s a rallying song. It’s about liberating yourself from a lot of bullshit that you see on TV.” Hope I hope they bring the fire with this new album.
